Will it turn on when it receives power? Or do I need to turn this on every day when I activate power? I have the Fosi ZA3 and the sound is phenominal, but I have to press the volume button every day for 2 second when power is activated

Super review, Bruce! Those headphones certainly look fantastic. They have a number of really good reviews. I have yet to hear them, but I just might pop for a pair soon, unheard, even though I already have 2 other really good headphones around (Sundara - 2020 version for transient detail and soundstage, and HD6xx for vocal timbre). 😅👍🎶🎶🎶

The biggest issue I had with the amp is the power rating is not as claimed. For the 2 channel part it will not even be close to 165 watts even with the power supply upgrade. I feel you can do better for that amount of money. It does look very good though and the casing does not get hot. It sounds ok but not as great as it should be for the price and claimed wattage.

I have the encore the last iteration. These are the best speakers I've ever heard and I've owned a lot of speakers. I have subwoofers I turned them off. You can bang this speakers and they are great.

About five years ago I bought a Nakamichi Cassette Deck 1. It makes even badly recorded tapes sound decent. There is magic in going to a shelf, choosing a recording (LP, cassette, CD), putting into/onto a player, and enjoying the music. Scrolling through a playlist just isn't the same.

I've owned mine about a year and recently added the Cambridge Audio Minx Subwoofer and I have the volume on the back of that sub down low and it does sound way better. BTW if I ever go for a upgrade it would be the retro JBL L100's but at 4800 for a pair it would be a purchase with serious diminishing returns.

Is this PM8006 power enough for Wharfedale Jade 7 or Klipsch RF7 MK3 speakers? Appreciate your feedback. Thank you

I had a pair of q150s and regret selling them. I think when it comes to bass, many times people want bass that’s deeper than the way it was recorded on what they’re playing. I leave my tone controls flat most of the time and felt they had plenty of bass.

Just curious - since this is a new product, I couldn't find out (yet) if the Op Amps were interchangeable like many of the other Fosi releases. Do you know (or could you check) to see if the Op Amps are interchangeable in that new MC351? If they are, then this would be a fantastic unit to play with.

Nice room tour! Glad to hear you’re into cassettes and cassette decks. I have four including a Pioneer CT F950. Hope you make the jump into moving coil cartridges like a Denon 103 or 103r. Maybe you have an MC phono stage on your Marantz or older receivers? If not, you can invest in a step up transformer (SUT).

I got rid of a couple vintage Tape decks in '21 one a Pioneer CTF650 in need of a belt change. Still holding on to my Kenwood Direct drive, though all cassettes are gone or converted to digital. Note, I never liked the Dolby setting, adding muffling to the tape, yet had to get rid of the hiss. Heads would block up & need frequent cleaning, especially with store bought cassettes.

Just bought one! Driving a pair of q acoustics 3020, i think it’s definitely well-built and great-sounding. Just wish it had auto standby so that I could just leave it on 24/7!

It is that sweetness, warmth, and silky smoothness that I prefer in vinyl. Digital to me is an approximation without soul: too clinical and robbed of many harmonics present in live and unamplifier music and analog recordings, especially direct to disk pressings. Besides, analog preserves what is below the noise floor.
